Suddenly my wife's icon popped back on the map so I could follow the correct hooligan with her phone. since when did the Hell's Angels allow teens, tweens and possibly children into the gang? A question for another day. All going in different directions on skateboards and bicycles. Ah HA! heading off to sell the phone no doubt. As expected a young hooligan immediately left the party. I left the back yard and returned to our car. I shouted "Which one of you turned off the phone?! I'll call the cops!" But they continued to deny knowledge of the location of the stolen phone. Then my wife's icon abruptly vanished from the map. I pulled out my phone showing my wife's icon in this very back yard - I held my finger over my phone and said "Well I'll just call it and see which of you has the phone!". But they all turned red and got sweaty - so clearly guilty. They, being hooligans and neerdowells, naturally denied any knowledge of the phone and even pretended not to know where Ghost Lake was. I told them we were looking for a cell phone and it was showing its location as "right here". They seemed a bit young to be full-on biker gang members. I heard some voices so I walked around the back of the clubhouse and found 4 young hooligans sitting around no doubt planning further criminal adventures. And actually she couldn't even drive to safety and report the location of my body because I also took the keys to the car. So I left my wife safely in our car out front of the biker clubhouse. But I doubt I could also defend my wife's virtue from a sex crazed bike gang likely high on meth and PCP. I had an introductory Taekwondo class 25 years ago. With a MOTORCYCLE in the driveway! AH HA! A biker from the rally stole her phone and took it here! Could I personally take on an entire biker gang? Certainly. We raced into Calgary and tracked her phone to a sketchy run down looking home. She was right near Boness park in Calgary! WTF!! Somebody stole her phone!

We have location sharing turned on so I opened Google Maps and there she was. This was a Note 20 which is stupidly expensive in Canada - over $2000 - so I didn't want to see it go missing. She remembered leaving it in her coat and putting her coat on the tongue of the trailer next to ours in the parking lot at Ghost Lake. My wife noticed her cell phone was missing. We got home, ate and prepared to leave for the finale of the Globalfest Fireworks festival in Calgary. Anyway the bikers are an important part of this story and will appear again a bit later. What a scary looking bunch - although I hear they often raise money for charities. Checkpoint 10 was in the parking lot so there were a lot of bikers to drive around and avoid pissing off. There were hundreds of Hell's Angel type bikers on the road doing some kind of rally. After a nice ride, we loaded the pups into the car and headed home. The wife and I decided to get in one (possibly) last boat ride yesterday and headed out to Ghost Lake where our boat lives.
